Who We Are

RMS ­– Resort Management Sales – is the only Management Rights specialist agency based on the Sunshine Coast. We have a reputation built on 20 years as industry leaders.

The company was established on the Sunshine Coast in 2002, and in the last financial year oversaw around $40 million in transactions.

RMS was established by John Hellyer and Barry Humphries, who laid the foundation for our dynamic and highly respected business before retiring. We are renowned for great service, sound advice and complete professionalism.

Matt Campbell and Barry Davies have spent a combined 42 years selling Management Rights and between them have sold 500 Management Rights businesses. Newcomer Adam Langer brings a fresh, new dynamic to the business.

All three have owned and operated Management Rights businesses and know the industry from the ground up. They’ve been there and done that, and can offer advice and support on all aspects of Management Rights – everything from guest and owner relations, marketing, housekeeping, IT systems and relief management, as well as licensing and other government issues.

Barry has spent 22 years in Management Rights, and is the longest serving agent on the Sunshine Coast. Matt is the second longest with 20 years.

It’s a testament to our impeccable reputation that 80 per cent of our business comes from referrals.

RMS is based on the Sunshine Coast, one of the most fertile fields for the growth of Management Rights in Australia, but we also do business in places such as Hervey Bay, Bargara and Agnes Waters – even as far north as Port Douglas and as far west as St George.

Management Rights is all we sell. We are leaders in the field because of our vast experience and sterling reputation – and because we love the whole business of Management Rights.

Our specialty is matching sellers and buyers in an open, honest environment to achieve the best possible outcome for all parties. Matt, Barry and Adam are sports fanatics and love the concept of win-win for everyone in the transactions we organise.

The relationships we build with both buyer and seller continues long after a business changes hands, and what starts out as a business association almost always ends up as a long friendship.
